Ginger Cookie Recipe

Ginger Cookies 



🍪 INGREDIENTS 

✅ 2 Tea spoons of Ground Ginger 
✅ 1 Tea spoon of Baking powder 
✅ 1 Cup of Vegetable Oil 
✅ 2 Cup of All Purpose Flour 
✅ 1 Tea spoon of Kosher salt 
✅ 1 Tea spoon of  Cinnamon 
✅ 1 Cup of Packed Brown Sugar 
✅ 1/2 Tea spoon of Baking Soda 
✅ 1 Large Egg 
✅ 1/4 Tea spoon of Ground Cloves 
✅ 1 Tea spoon of Pure Vanilla extract 
✅ 1/3 Cup of Molasses - Preferably grandma's 
✅ 1/2 Cup of Granulated Sugar - Plus More for Rolling 

Whisk Together Ginger , Baking powder , Flour , Cloves , Baking soda , Salt and Cinnamon - In a Medium Bowl. 

Take another Large Bowl - Whisk Together Egg , Sugar , Oil , Vanilla and Molasses. 
Add Dry Ingredients to Wet and Mix Until Just Combined.

Refrigerate Dough For 1 Hour. 

Preheat the Oven to 350° and Line Two Baking Sheets with Parchment paper. 
In a Small bowl - Add sugar.

Using a Large Cookie Scoop - About 3 Table spoons.
Scoop Chilled Dough Directly in to Sugar and Roll to Coat. 
Then Place on Prepared Baking Sheet 3 Apart. 

Dough will Still be Very Soft and Won't Hold It's Shape Completely.

Bake Until Edges are Barely Set and Tops are Crinkled - But Centers are Still soft - 14 or 15 Minutes. 

Let Cool on Baking Sheet for 5 Minutes. 
Then Transfer to a Cooling Rack to Let Cool Completely.
