Pasta Bake with Sausage 




🍛 INGREDIENTS 

✴️ 1 - lb Italian Sausage 
✴️ 4 Cups of Tomato Sauce 
✴️ 2 Table spoons of Olive oil 
✴️ 1/2 Tea spoon of Ground Black pepper or To Taste 
✴️ 1 - lb } 454g  Penne pasta 
✴️ 1 Cup of Onion - Finely chopped 
✴️ 1 Tea spoon of Salt or To Taste 
✴️ 1 Table spoon of Garlic - Minced 
✴️ 1/4 Cup of Fresh Basil - Chopped 
✴️ 3 Cups of Fresh Mozzarella cheese - Shredded 
✴️ 1 Table spoon of Italian Seasoning 
✴️ 1/4 Cup of Fresh Parsley - Finely chopped 
✴️ 1 Cup of Parmesan Cheese - Freshly Grated Divided

🍛 Preheat the Oven to 375 F.
Bring a Large Pot of Salted Water to a Boil over Medium High Heat. 

Add pasta and Cook Until - Fully Cooked but Still Firm - About 8 or 10 Minutes  or According to Package Directions. 

Drain well and Keep Aside. 

In a Large Pot - Heat Olive oil.
Then add Sausage and Stir to Cook Until Browned About 4 or 7 Minutes. 
Use a Spatula to Break the Sausages in to Small Pieces. 

Add Garlic and Onions - Until Soft and Tender.
About 2 or 3 Minutes. 

Stir to combine. Pour in Tomato - Turn the Heat Down to Medium and Bring the Meat sause to a Simmer. 
Stirring Occasionally - stir in 1/2 Cup of Parmesan Cheese , Basil , Parsley and Italian Seasoning. 
Season with Pepper and Salt. 

🍛 Turn - Heat Down to Low and Simmer for 5 or 7 Minutes. 
Stirring Occasionally 

Simmering helps Develop Richer Flavour in the sauce. 

Transfer the Cooked and Drained Pasta into the sauce and Toss Well to Mix Evenly. 
Spread Half of the Pasta in to a 9×13 Casserole Pan and Top with Half of Mozzarella cheese - 1.5 Cups. 

Add the Remaining Pasta and Sprinkle the Remaining Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheese Evenly on Top.

Bake the Pasta for 25 Minutes Until the Melted Cheese is Golden Brown. 

Let Cool it for 15 Minutes.
